  1. thinks says:

Simply magnificent beauty, when one thinks of the purposes and the goings on inside those buildings. And that all those buildings and the beautiful things inside them are nesting all together in one very special place. The architecture is beutiful.

The Cavendish Lab looks a little 70’s. The flats may be a little boxy, if not Swedish without the red mineral coating -but the ice and snow on the wall makes them beautiful. However, further down, The Squire Library is an amazing sight of etherial geometry, somewhere in a science fiction movie. The Department of Applied Math looks suspiciously like a Pagoda with a widow’s watch at the top -the interior is stunning! I guess they must have been getting comments that the Faculty of Divinity looks divine, and, the bike parking outside the Gates Building looks amazingly like the main terminal at Denver International Airport. The West site building could be a 50’s revival with bus depot overtones!

I love them all! And love the grandeur given by the lighting in the photos!
